ᴄᴀᴛᴡᴏᴍᴀɴ:

A devilish smirk twitched onto her features as her head tipped to the side, watching the other carefully. He was a smart one, she’d have to give him that.

“You’d be surprised what I know, and what he trusts me with. I know his identity, and so I know everyone else’s–in case of emergency. I mean, obviously I’m on some eternal probation because of my past, but I am actually doing better. Helped stop the abduction and sale of women, and stopped a thief trying to poach endangered animals. This was just a….lapse of judgement. An old addiction resurfacing.”

She grabbed the satchel and tossed it to him, the clinking of the contents jingling as it was airborne.

⚡️ ––– That all sounded… Rather fishy, if he did say so himself. On one hand, Batman was probably the most paranoid individual he’d met to date and there was no way he’d let his own identity get out, let alone those of the other heroes. On the other hand… Even the Batman has to have weaknesses and she was very pretty. He snatched the satchel out of the air as it as thrown to him, giving her a suspicious glare before checking the contents inside.

⚡️ ––– His certainty in the apprehension wavered a little, clutching the bag in both hands, though he kept his expression as neutral as possible. If she really was turning a new leaf… He’d certainly let certain ex-criminals get away for doing as much and no one had really gotten hurt here…  So… What? I let you go and you promise you’ll be a good kitty and stop stealing? Is that it?
